(A) Introduction to Lotto and Millionaire Raffle
- (1) Lotto costs £2 to play. This includes entry into the Lotto Draw and the Millionaire Raffle Draw.
- (2) The Millionaire Raffle is a raffle draw that takes place on each Lotto Draw day. In each Millionaire Raffle Draw, at least 21 raffle numbers will be selected and each will win a guaranteed Millionaire Raffle Prize. The first raffle number selected will win the first Millionaire Raffle Prize of £1,000,000 and the next 20 raffle numbers selected will each win the second Millionaire Raffle Prize of £20,000.
- (3) Lotto and Millionaire Raffle Draws take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
-
(B) Playing Lotto online
- (1) To play Lotto on the Site, You should fill in the interactive play slip for Lotto by following the instructions provided. To buy Lotto Entries with Your Pingit Account, You should follow the instructions provided.
- (2) A 'week', when mentioned in the number of weeks section, will start on the first available Wednesday or Saturday Lotto Draw that Your Lotto Entry is entered into and will end immediately before (and excluding) the Lotto Draw on the same day of the following calendar week.
- (3) For each Lotto Entry You buy, You will be given a unique Millionaire Raffle number which starts with four letters that spell a colour and is followed by eight numbers - this will be Your Millionaire Raffle Entry.
- (4) Your Millionaire Raffle Entry will automatically be entered into the Millionaire Raffle Draw taking place on the same day as the Lotto Draw You have entered. If You buy a Multi-draw Lotto Entry, the same Millionaire Raffle number will be entered into all Millionaire Raffle Draws that Your Multi-draw Lotto Entry is valid for.
- (5) If You are playing Lotto by Direct Debit, You will get a different Millionaire Raffle Entry for each Millionaire Raffle Draw.
- (6) If You have used Your Account to buy a Lotto Entry and Your Selection is not shown in Your "My account" section of the Site, then that Selection will not have been entered into any Lotto Draw and You will not have been issued with a Millionaire Raffle Entry for that Selection.
- (7) If You have used Your Pingit Account to buy a Lotto Entry, You should be able to view Your Lotto Entry and Millionaire Raffle Entry following the link shown in Your Pingit Account after You have made Your purchase, or in the email confirmation sent to You by Camelot. If You can’t see the link or do not receive an email, and are not sure if Your purchase was successful or what Your Lotto Entry and Millionaire Raffle Entry are, You should contact the Customer Care Team.
-
(C) How to win in Lotto and Millionaire Raffle
- (1) If Your Lotto Entry matches two or more of the Main Numbers You will win a Prize in the highest relevant Lotto Prize category, providing the requirements of the Rules and these Procedures are met.
- (2) If Your Lotto Entry matches two of the Main Numbers You will win a Prize of a free Lotto Lucky Dip. Your Lotto Lucky Dip will be entered into the Lotto Draw taking place after the Lotto Draw You won the Lucky Dip in. We will let You know that You have won and give You the option to decide which Lotto Draw You would like any future Match 2 Lotto Prizes to be entered into (next Lotto Draw, next Wednesday Lotto Draw or next Saturday Lotto Draw).
- (3) If Your Millionaire Raffle Entry matches all of the letters and numbers in the exact order chosen in a Millionaire Raffle Draw (reading from left to right), and your ticket serial number matches the ticket serial number which Camelot holds for a winning Millionaire Raffle Entry, You will win a Millionaire Raffle Prize, providing the requirements of the Rules and these Procedures are met.
- (4) It is possible to win a Lotto Prize and a Millionaire Raffle Prize with one Lotto Entry and its associated Millionaire Raffle number.
-

(E) The Prize Fund, Reserve Fund, Pools Fund and Rollovers
- (1) On average, 47.5% of sales for a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw will be available in Prizes for that Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw (the "Prize Fund"). All cash Prizes will be rounded down to the nearest £1.
- (2) 6.93% of sales for each Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw will be allocated from the Prize Fund to pay Millionaire Raffle Prizes won in that Millionaire Raffle Draw. If there is any surplus money left over from the 6.93% (after the Millionaire Raffle Prizes for that Millionaire Raffle Draw have been paid) the surplus will be put in a reserve fund (the “Reserve Fund”). The surplus will not form part of the Prize Fund for that Lotto Draw or Millionaire Raffle Draw.
- (3) The Reserve Fund will be used to fund Millionaire Raffle Prizes if the 6.93% allocation mentioned in Section (E)(2) above isn’t sufficient to pay these Prizes. The Reserve Fund can also be used to fund additional Millionaire Raffle Prizes, and/or to increase the amount of a Lotto Prize and/or Millionaire Raffle Prize, and/or for any Lotto related promotion(s), and/or to increase the Capped Prize Fund (see Section (F) below).
- (4) The Pools Fund is an amount equal to 17.82% of sales for a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw. The Pools Fund for a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw will be allocated from the Prize Fund to the Match 6, Match 5 + Bonus, Match 5 and Match 4 Prize categories in the percentages set out in the table in Section (D)(1) above. The percentage of the Pools Fund allocated to each of those Prize categories will be divided equally by the number of winning Lotto Entries in that Prize category in that Lotto Draw.
-
(5) The table below shows what happens to the money in each Lotto Prize category if there are no winning Lotto Entries in that Lotto Prize category in a Lotto Draw.
Table showing what happens to the money in each Lotto Prize category if there are no winning Lotto Entries in that Lotto Prize category in a Lotto Draw Prize Category What Happens to the Prize Money if there are no Winning Lotto Entries? Match 6 / Jackpot
Either
- all of it rolls over and is added to the Jackpot for the next Lotto Draw*, or
- part of it rolls over and is added to the Jackpot for the next Lotto Draw, with the rest of it being added to the Reserve Fund (see Sections (E)(2) and (E)(3) for more informaion about the Reserve Fund). Camelot will decide, in line with a scheme approved by the Commission, which of the above will happen for each Lotto Draw in which there are no winners in this Prize category.
Match 5 + Bonus
It is added to the Jackpot for that Lotto Draw
Match 5
It is added to the Prize pool for the Match 4 Prize category for that Lotto Draw
Match 4
It is added to the Prize pool for the Match 3 Prize category for that Lotto Draw
- (6) There is no maximum number of Rollovers. The Jackpot can continue to roll until it reaches or exceeds an amount agreed by Camelot and the Gambling Commission. This amount will be advertised by Camelot and will be stated on the Site. Once the Jackpot has reached or exceeded this amount, it can only roll once more before it must be won. This means that if the Jackpot is not won in the first Lotto Draw when that amount is reached or exceeded, the entire Jackpot will roll to the next Lotto Draw. If the Jackpot is not won in that next Lotto Draw, the Jackpot will roll down to the next Prize category where there is at least one winner.
-
(F) Prize capping
Only Match 3 Prizes are subject to Prize capping, i.e. may be less than £25. Match 3 Prizes will be capped in very rare cases and only if the amount equal to 22.75% of the sales for a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw, plus an amount agreed by Camelot and the Gambling Commission (currently set at £8 million) to support Match 3 and Match 2 Prizes, plus an amount, if any, available from the Match 4 Prize category if there are no winning Entries in the Match 4 Prize category in that Lotto and Millionaire Raffle Draw, is not enough to award a Lotto Lucky Dip Entry for each winning Lotto Entry in the Match 2 Prize category and to pay £25 for each winning Lotto Entry in the Match 3 Prize category in that Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw.
In these circumstances, the Capped Prize Fund (which is the 22.75% of sales for that Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw, plus the amount agreed by Camelot and the Gambling Commission (currently set at £8 million) to support Match 3 and Match 2 Prizes, plus an amount, if any, available from the Match 4 Prize category if there are no winning Entries in the Match 4 Prize category in that Lotto Draw) will be used first to award a Lotto Lucky Dip Entry (at a value of £2) to each winning Lotto Entry in the Match 2 Prize category. Any monies remaining in the Capped Prize Fund will then be divided equally between all winning Lotto Entries in the Match 3 Prize category in that Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw. If there are insufficient funds left in the Capped Prize Fund to pay £2 for each winning Lotto Entry in the Match 3 Prize category, then monies from the Reserve Fund will be added to the remaining monies in the Capped Prize Fund to ensure this is the case and each winning Lotto Entry in the Match 3 Prize category will be paid a £2 Prize.
-
(G) Cancelling a Lotto or Millionaire Raffle Entry
- (1) You cannot cancel a Lotto Entry (or a Millionaire Raffle Entry) bought on the Site after You have accepted the Selection(s) displayed on the "Confirm Play Slip" screen of the Site. You cannot cancel a Lotto Entry (or a Millionaire Raffle Entry) bought using Your Pingit Account once You have selected ‘Pay Now’ on the Review Order page. You cannot cancel Lotto Match 2 Prizes.
- (2) If You get two or more Lucky Dip Selections for the same Lotto Draw that contain the same six numbers, or You get two or more Millionaire Raffle Entries that are identical for the same Millionaire Raffle Draw, You should telephone our Customer Care Team within 120 minutes of buying the relevant Lotto Entry(ies), or before the close of sales for that Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw, whichever is the earlier. Camelot may then, at its discretion and following investigation, refund into Your Account (or Your Pingit Account if the Lotto Entry(ies) were bought using Your Pingit Account) an amount equal to the cost of the duplicate Lotto Entry(ies).
-
(H) Cancelled Draws
If Camelot becomes aware that the Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw after the next Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw will be Cancelled Draws, then in that next Lotto Draw (before the Cancelled Draws), Prize money for any Lotto Prize category where there are no winning Lotto Entries will roll down to the next Prize category where there is at least one winning Lotto Entry. If the Prize money rolls to the Match 3 Prize category, the Prize money will be divided equally between the winning Lotto Entries in the Match 3 Prize category and added to the £25 Match 3 Prize. Millionaire Raffle Prizes will be paid in full and Lotto Lucky Dips will be awarded to all winning Lotto Entries in the Match 2 Prize category.
-
(I) Refunds for Cancelled Lotto Draws
- (1) Without limiting Camelot's liability (as set out in Rules 11.3 and 11.4 of the Rules), if a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw are Cancelled Draws, Camelot will refund You any amount You paid for Your Lotto Entry and Millionaire Raffle Entry into the Cancelled Draws.
- (2) Any refund will be placed directly into Your Account (or Your Pingit Account if the Lotto Entry was bought using Your Pingit Account) or refunded in any other way decided by Camelot. No interest will be paid on any refunds made.
- (3) This Section (I) shall not apply where a Lotto Draw and Millionaire Raffle Draw have been delayed or postponed, or have been cancelled but are not Cancelled Draws as defined in these Procedures.
-
(J) Postponement
- (1) Where Camelot considers it reasonable to do so, it may postpone a Lotto Draw for as long as it considers to be appropriate in the circumstances. In that case (by way of example only, where there has been a significant disruption to the sale of Lotto tickets) Camelot may continue to sell tickets for that Lotto Draw beyond the normal Draw break for that Lotto Draw.
